Laura Harrison

Laura Harrison is the founder of The Natural Yoga Method, yoga therapist and instructor, & author. Her work is well-informed by the historic roots of yoga but extracts it from its cultural packaging and brings it into plain and direct English, aimed directly at the people of our time and place.
Her main teaching is to empower her students to hear, discern, and fearlessly follow their inner rightness in all ways, which is the crucial compass in our human journey. She works with adults and children as a yoga therapist, retraining their bodies to prevent (re)injury, helping them to heal from trauma (PTSD), learning to focus, and disconnecting from old painful patterns of confusion (such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety), and so on. She teaches kids the tools to focus, providing an alternative therapy for ADHD. She leads a year-long yoga teacher training course based around one's own transformative journey. Her weekly semi-private classes are an opportunity to have personal guidance and space to fly during one's own transformative journey in life.
